Southern Coating and Nameplate was established in 1970 and Incorporated in 1972. Our founder, Bob Osborne had a great career as one of the first 100 sales people for Avery Dennison, so he was well versed in the printing and labeling industry. He had a vision to open a high quality printing company in the southern portion of the country, something that was lacking in this area at that time. SCN first began its operations in a small 5,000 square foot warehouse in Jacksonville, AR and its main business was lithography printing. Since then, with Bob’s printing knowledge, he has expanded SCN to North Little Rock, AR and over 50,000 square feet, multiple operations, printing techniques and labeling choices. Bob has now handed the reins over to his son, Mark Osborne. Mark’s drive to find the newest technologies available in multiple industries keeps SCN on the cutting edge of today’s very competitive labeling market. What started with a few employees shipping to local in state businesses has now expanded to over 50 employees shipping all over the United States and 6 different countries.
Since SCN’s inception, we have prided ourselves on offering our customers high quality parts, great customer service, one central location for all of the customer’s labeling needs and all of this for a competitive price. With our ever expanding equipment inventory, expanding operations and our continuing goal for quality which is most recently proven with our laser die cutter, flat bed digital press and our newly acquired ISO certification, we hope you will find SCN the company you are looking for to fit all of your parts requirements and needs.
